More Excitement from "K-Roboride"!

From April 28, 2018, Kawasaki Robostage adds new contents to “K-Roboride”: a virtual reality attraction that combines industrial robots and VR (Virtual Reality) together.

The new attraction features more active movements and movie contents from various and multiple sceneries.

<About “K-Roboride”>
 “K-Roboride” is a Virtual Reality attraction started on July 15, 2017.  In the attraction, Kawasaki’s industrial robot “BX165N”, which boasts a huge market share in the field of car body welding process, and VR (virtual reality) are combined together.  Visitors can feel like riding on a drone by wearing Head Mound Display, watching 360 angles of VR movie and sitting in a seat moved by BX165N.  In the International Robot Exhibition held on November 2017, “K-Roboride”set in Kawasaki Heavy Industries booth was a huge success during the entire exhibition period.

<关于K-Roboride>
    主要应用在汽车车体焊接工程的大型通用机器人“BX165N”将变身为与VR相结合的娱乐设施与大家重新见面。佩戴VR专用的头盔显示器坐在由BX165N操纵的椅子上，可体验360度可视化的影像宛如坐在无人机上俯瞰大地。
     我们为您准备的体验影像是使用无人机航拍的川崎重工西神户工厂的风景以及海岸航拍等共4种影片。根据影像去设计BX165N的动作而使乘坐者能够感受到如临现场的真实体验。K-Roboride在2017年11月举行的“国际机器人展2017”上的川崎重工展出摊位亮相。体验参加人数众多，场面盛况空前。
