Performance testing of keyboards and touch panels

The Kawasaki dual-arm SCARA robot, duAro, demonstrates performance testing of keyboards and touch panels. This is a typical application in the electronics industry. First, the collaborative duAro robot puts three different workpieces: a laptop computer, smartphone and tablet PC on the center table. Thanks to its dual-arm design, a pair of grippers can handle the different sizes and shapes of workpieces. Next, the grippers are changed to test the operation of the keyboards and touch screens. The vision system installed high above the workpiece displays the test results on the monitor.
