Inspection of various small parts

The Kawasaki RS005L robot picks up a number of small parts from a tray while the camera inspects their diameter, length, etc. This automated system efficiently inspects approx. 50 different kinds of parts. The vision system identifies the part type by measuring the dimensions of each workpiece. This system prevents faulty assemblies due to wrong part arrangement on the tray.
